7th Arun Chowdhury Memorial Lecture
The 7th Arun Chowdhury Memorial Lecture was organized on March 31, 2023 at Kolkata’s Sarala Memorial Hall. Held on Shri Arun Chowdhury’s 94th birth anniversary, the seventh lecture discussed the new wave of socialism in Latin America.
The topic of the oration was "The new wave of socialism in Latin America- Vibrancy and its lessons". The lecture was delivered by Mr. Edgar Isch Lopez who is a professor of social sciences from the central university of Ecuador and now in the forefront of people's struggles in Ecuador. The discussion was moderated by Anirban Chattopadhyay, former editor (Anandabazar Patrika).
